應用

SmartMX 符合如金融卡、SIM 卡、付費電視用戶卡、電子商務、電子化政府與大眾運輸等大規模、低成本、單一或多重應用市場的需求。SmartMX 雙介面與三介面系列產品提供高 EEPROM 記憶體容量 (高達 14472 Kbyte)，符合甚至超越國際民航組織 (ICAO) 所訂定的智慧型護照規格 (機器可讀旅行文件)。

安全

SmartMX 智慧卡晶片擁有電壓、頻率、溫度與光線的異常偵測機制，使得整個系列的產品能夠抗拒任何形式的實體分析，此外，記憶體管理單元 (防火牆) 也為 PKI 控制晶片提供額外的保護。SmartMX 系列晶片的硬體已經通過獨立安全專家的驗證以確保符合最高的安全標準，其中率先推出的晶片已經通過 CC EAL5+ 認證。

在目標市場中，SmartMX 是目前最先進的解決方案，它整合了功能相當強大的 PKI 協同處理器與密鑰編密以支援 RSA、ECC、DES 與 AES，而且還具有高安全性、低耗電與效能最佳化的非同步技術。SmartMX 可以輕易實現最佳化作業系統與開放式平台解決方案，包括 JAVA 開放式平台與 MULTOS，同時提供最佳化的功能與高安全性。

SmartMX 微控器採用 0.1418 µm 五層金屬層 CMOS 製程技術生產，並支援 Class 'C'、'B' 與 'A' 電壓範圍 (1.8 - 5 V)，可以滿足如 3GPP 3G 行動通訊與信用卡 / 預付卡標準 (EMV) 的需求。SmartMX 採用經驗證的安全性 C51 相容架構為基礎，提供包含 ISO 7816、ISO 14443 與 USB 2.0 等多種介面選擇，同時提供 3-DES 編密協同處理器以及 AES 演算法與 針對 PKI 演算法的 FameXE 加密加速器選擇。
